According to the project manager of the Guangxi Liuzhou Automobile City-East Outer Ring Liudong section (K7+000-K9+840) II section overpass project of China Railway Eighth Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the project is located at the east end of Baojun Avenue and Xinliu Avenue, running north-south, crossing Xinliu Avenue to the south, connecting the planned Qiangrong Road in Liudong New District. To the north, it leads to the Hualing area. The overpass in this section is designed as a prestressed reinforced concrete single-box double-cell continuous box girder, with vase-shaped piers. The total length of the bridge is 2840 meters, and the width is 26.5 meters. The project is designed and constructed in left and right sections, each with a standard road width of 13.25 meters, and a four-lane dual-carriageway for motor vehicles.
The project manager also said that 2430 meters of the main bridge structure with construction work surface has been completed, and the project has entered the final stages of road surface construction, traffic engineering, and street lighting construction, and is planned to be completed and accepted by the end of March this year. However, the overpass crossing Xinliu Avenue (i.e., the fourteenth and fifteenth sections, totaling 410 meters) cannot be constructed due to land acquisition and demolition. If the land acquisition and demolition issues are resolved, the construction of the overpass crossing Xinliu Avenue can be completed within 3 months.
